In econe.conf you have to put
:ssl_server: http://MY_IP_ADDRESS/ec2/

Because it is used in EC2 authentication, it will not work with 
different EC2_URL=http://localhost:4567 anymore. You have to use 
EC2_URL=http://MY_IP_ADDRESS/ec2/ (sometimes final / is not required, 
but it depends on EC2 client).
