Dear OpenNebula users,

The Haizea Lease Manager has been released and is available for download at:


This piece of software may be of interest to OpenNebula users since it 
can be used as a drop-in replacement for OpenNebula's scheduling daemon 
(this integration has been developed in close collaboration with the 
OpenNebula team). Haizea provides OpenNebula with more advanced 
scheduling capabilities such as advance reservations and queueing of 
requests when there are no resources available.

Please note that the current version is a technology preview and, 
although it has been tested with OpenNebula, this functionality has not 
been fully documented yet. An updated version of Haizea will be released 
later this month with better OpenNebula support and a detailed guide on 
how to setup OpenNebula with Haizea as a scheduling backend. In the 
meanwhile, you can tinker around with Haizea in its simulation mode.

Of course, if you feel adventurous and want to try Haizea with 
OpenNebula before that, we've included a sample configuration file that 
you can use to give it a try. If you have any questions or comments,
