Hi Guys,

I have a small (one machine) Opennebula setup (just upgraded to v4.10 -
jipie!). Now I am trying to find the best way to change the network card
configured for a Windows Server VM (KVM).
Unfortunately when the template was created we forgot to set virtio as
model in the configuration (we were still learning the details of ONE)
and we are now stuck with the Realtek 10/100 card -
which is not very performant. Is there an easy way to update the
configuration and somehow make the VM reread the configuration? I know
where the configuration file is stores (local datastore,
deployment.0 file for the VM) - would changing this file have any impact
(just rebooting the machine obviously does not do the trick).
So in short, how do I get opennebula/kvm to reread the VMs configuration
without having to recreate the VM?

Thanks a lot,
Marcus
