You were right. We were creating the image as we did with the other KVM
hosts. We reviewed the documentation and created the vmdk image as
described, and everything worked as expected. For future reference, we
created the image providing a PATH to the folder containing the vmdk
file as shown in the template below:
NAME = MyVMwareDisk
PATH =/var/tmp_images/vmdk_containing_folder
TYPE = OS
We also reverted the changes to the original file
(/var/lib/one/remotes/datastore/vmfs/cp).
