[one-users] VPN Access ...

Hi Daniel,

I dont know if there is any connection between ¨Kernel panic error ¨ and ¨Server disconnected (code: 1006)¨ errors. When I´m trying to deploy a Debian VM using other template, I get a message ¨Server disconnected (code: 1006)¨. Therefore, I cannot eventually connect through sunstone using VNC to any of my VM´es.

Following the previous threads I also verified these possibilities to find the problem but sunstone is still showing the Server disconnected msg.

Check sunstone.error too. --> EMPTY

Check that no websockify from a previous session is running (ps aux | grep websockify).--> NO

Check that you have run ./install_novnc.sh after your upgrade. --> DONE

Check that you can still connect to the machine VNC with a different vnc client directly. --> When I try with virt-manager I get the same error than at the beginning of this Thread ¨Kernel panic ...¨

Is the "starting vnc proxy" line showing up in sunstone.log? --> YES

>From which version were you upgrading? You can attach sunstone.log so I can check if I see something that you missed. --> I am using the last version of Opennebula 3.6.0-1

The content of sunstone.log is:

[I]: Starting vnc proxy: /usr/share/one/noVNC/utils/websockify  85431 asturias:55555

Hi Daniel,

This is the content of my template:

CONTEXT=[
  FILES="/var/tmp/ubuntuVM/init.sh",
  GATEWAY="192.168.122.1",
  NETMASK="255.255.255.0" ]

DISK=[
  IMAGE="ubuntu_image_template2",
  IMAGE_UNAME="oneadmin" ]
FEATURES=[

GRAPHICS=[

MEMORY="1000"

NIC=[

  TYPE="kvm" ]
TEMPLATE_ID="21"

On the other hand I verified the oned.conf file which is enclosed in this mail, and I didn´t find any mistake.

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,
Héctor

Hi,

Hi all,

I created a Ubuntu 12.04 LTS virtual machine to test my OpenNebula installation and I got some errors when sunstone tries to connect to it using VNC.

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block (0,0)

Did you get these errors before ? I think I need to configure something at the BOOT parameters of my virtual image template but I don´t know what.

I also attached a png file to show you the error.

Could you send us the template you're using? and please check if there is any error in your oned.log

Cheers.

Thanks in advance.

Best,
Héctor
