[one-users] Which license vor VMware ESXi 5

Hello,

at the moment i am evaluating OpenNebula with VMware ESXi5. I have read a few times, that you can´t use the "free license" for the ESXi.
Is this only when you want to use features like live migration or do you always need a full license?
And when you need a full license what would be the minimum license to boy? Vmware vSphere 5 Essentials Kit?
