Hi,
I personally use virt-manager to access the console. You should then launch the reboot of the VM from virt-manager and look at console. You will see all messages from boot to understand what's going on.

Objet: [one-users] how to attach a "console" to the VM and access the console via "virsh"

Hi, all, I have put this section in my vm definition file :

RAW = [ type = "kvm",
data = "<devices><serial type=\"pty\"><source
path=\"/dev/pts/5\"/><target port=\"0\"/></serial><console type=\"pty\"
tty=\"/dev/pts/5\"><source path=\"/dev/pts/5\"/><target
port=\"0\"/></console></devices>"
]

the ttylinux instance runs normally. When I ssh to the host and try to open the console of it, by the command "virsh console <domain>", it is just stuck in the screen with only one line of message:

Connected to domain one-19
Escape character is ^]

Can anybody help me ?
Best Regards,
Jeff
