[one-users] VM creation to EC2 stuck in "pending"

I am unable to run the ec2 commands, it says:
oneadmin at OpenNebula:~/images$ ec2-run-instances ami-55739e3c
Unknown host: 'https://ec2.amazonaws.com'

Like I mentioned before, I am behind a proxy and I do have my https_proxy setup:

Hi Sufiah,

1) can you use the ec2 commands (eg "ec2-run-instances") correctly?

2) can you send all or the relevent parts of oned.log?
