Hi Suresh.

We don't know if it is at all possible to change the boot priority on
the fly. The recommended procedure to achieve an installation using
the CDRom and then booting from the HD is probably similar to what you
are doing now.

First, create a template with

OS=[boot="cdrom"]

Install the OS and the shut the machine down, change the template to

 OS=[boot="hd"]

and boot it up again.

If you have any hint on how to achieve the functionality you ask for,
we would love to have that kind of feedback.
