i already used persistent image setting, but why <span dir="ltr">it didn't retain the changes made when the VM is shutdown</span>?<br>
my VM was destroyed immediately after i shutdown it. <br>
So i used to suspend the VM rather than shutting down it.<br>

<div>As you said, the main difference is that persistent Images will retain the changes made when the VM is shutdown. Because of this, persistent Images can only be used by one VM at a time, while non-persistent ones can be used by several VMs.</div>
