On the Ceph Wiki they write: "Upstream libvirt supports snapshotting RBD devices since 0.9.12. The version included in Ubuntu 12.04 also includes this capability".<br>

I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 with libvirt version 1.0.2.<br>

So theoretically my system is supported for having snapshots...<br>
