If I am right, there is an upgrade of the database structure needed first to start one (versions before it was needed).<br>
You have still an older DB structure from the previous version.<br>

Check the documentation.<br>

Hi,

I am installing OpenNebula 4.2 from source. I successfully did the following:

$ cd opennebula-4.2.0
$ scons --sqlite=no --mysql=yes
$ ./install.sh -u oneadmin -g cloud -d /srv/cloud/one

I setup the necessary environment variables, as well as the one_auth file.
Then I started ones with the folloing error message:

oneadmin@vdc:~$ one start
Error parsing XML Document
oned failed to start

Below is what I have in var/oned.log:

oneadmin@vdc:~$ more var/oned.log

I am experimenting on the same machine with 3.8.3 and 4.1.80. Both of them
worked just fine.

What could be wrong?

Best regards,
