Hi,<br>
I"d like to know how to setup my conf to use virtio for disks.<br>
<br>
For the moment, my conf and templates where set to DISK BUS = IDE.
But I found that my disk accesses are quite slow.<br>
<br>
I tried to change my template to:<br>
<table style="text-indent:0px;letter-spacing:normal;font-variant:normal;text-align:left;width:980.546875px;font-style:normal;display:inline-block;font-weight:normal;vertical-align:top;line-height:normal;border-collapse:collapse;color:rgb(34,34,34);text-transform:none;overflow:auto;font-size:13px;white-space:normal;margin:20px;font-family:Arial,Verdana,Geneva,Helvetica,sans-serif;background-repeat:repeat repeat;word-spacing:0px;background-image:none">

<tr>
<td style="border-bottom-width:1px;border-bottom-style:solid;border-bottom-color:rgb(204,204,204);color:rgb(53,55,53);padding:6px 8px 6px 0px;min-width:150px;text-align:left;font-weight:bold">DISK</td>
<td style="border-bottom-width:1px;border-bottom-style:solid;border-bottom-color:rgb(204,204,204);color:rgb(53,55,53);padding:6px 8px;text-align:left;width:781px"><br>

</tr>
<tr>
<td style="border-bottom-width:0px;color:rgb(53,55,53);padding:6px 8px;min-width:150px;text-align:left;font-weight:bold"><br>
</td>
<td style="border-bottom-width:0px;color:rgb(53,55,53);padding:6px 8px;text-align:left;width:781px"><br>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td style="border-bottom-width:0px;color:rgb(53,55,53);padding:1px 8px 1px 25px;min-width:150px;text-align:left;font-weight:normal">BUS</td>
<td style="border-bottom-width:0px;color:rgb(53,55,53);padding:1px 8px;text-align:left;width:781px">virtio</td>
</tr>
</tbody>
</table>
<br>
But I see no difference.<br>
<br>
Looking at kmv process I see:<br>
111 904 1 26 11:49 ? 00:00:51 /usr/bin/kvm -S -M
pc-0.12 -enable-kvm -m 2048 -smp 1,sockets=1,cores=1,threads=1 -name

cirrus -device virtio-balloon-pci,id=balloon0,bus=pci.0,addr=0x4<br>
<br>
<br>
I see that the drive definition is always if=none (-drive
file=/var/lib/one//datastores/0/570/disk.0,if=none). Should not it
be set to if=virtio ?<br>
<br>
Thanks<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
