Hi,

You have 2 options:

* Deploy a Virtual Router appliance [1] in each Virtual Network and configure your VMs to use DHCP

* Contextualize your VMs [2]. OpenNebula assigns a MAC address derived from the IP, this way the context scripts know what IP to set for each network interface.

Hello everybody,

With regard to the lease management, it allows to manage a fixed or ranged pool of IP - MAC. But how do you deploy those IPs along the VMs?
When I create a set of VM, how does OpenNebula deploy automatically the pool of IPs among those VM? In Sunstone, it appears that every VM has an IP, but up to now, I've had to manually configure the IPs on the VMs. I guess it is not the right way, isn't it?

Thanks in advance,

Carlos.
