Hi,<div><br></div><div>The VM instance cannot be redefined, except for disk hot-plugging.</div><div>A VM Template is like a text file that OpenNebula stores for you, but once a VM instance is created, there is no relation between the two of them. So as you said, the changes you make to a Template will only affect new VM instances.</div>

<div><br></div><div>The disk hot-plug feature is enabled by default, see [1]. I'm not familiar with windows server, but I've seen other versions mounting the hot-plugged disks.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards.</div>
