Hi ,
This is unbelievable! Two Greenpeace activists Junicho Sato and Toru Suzuki, known as the Tokyo Two, are on trial and could face a prolonged jail term, simply for exposing large scale embezzlement and corruption with Japan's Whaling Programme.

Their trial has concluded and and the prosecution has demanded a year and six months imprisonment for them. This is the longest sentence ever demanded for Greenpeace activists in its history.

Whaling needs to be put on trial not those who fight it. Greenpeace is fighting to ensure that Junicho and Toru receive justice. I have already written a letter to the Japanese foreign minister asking him to spare the Tokyo Two and protect the whales.

Can you also write to the Japanese foreign minister?

By writing to the minister we can show him that voice for whales cuts across borders. More letters means more pressure on him to act.

Together we can save the whales.

Thanks!

himanshukhona@gmail.com
