But I see one_vmm_kvm.rb having the following<br>

Do we need to modify one_vmm_kvm.rb to use tcp?<div><div></div><div class="h5"><br>

Hello,
<div><br>
</div>
<div>If you don't specify VM_DIR in the configuration then VM_DIR
will be var directory from you frontend OpenNebula installation. That
directory must be seen in the same place in front end and nodes so live
migration can be performed. If you have that directory mounted in other
path in your nodes then you need to specify it with VM_DIR in the
configuration file.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Bye<br>

<div bgcolor="#ffffff" text="#000000">Hello<br>
<br>
We are using Opennebula 1.2 with KVM hypervisor. We are using the third
example given in the Storage guide where VM_DIR is not used and only
images directory is shared. We commented out the VM_DIR in oned.conf
and are using the modified tm_ln and tm_clone scripts.<br>
<br>
In a different section of the document it says <br>
<i><b>Note that the <code><VM_DIR></code> should be shared
for
most hypervisors to be able to perform live migrations.</b><br>
<br>
</i>So will it possible for us to do live migration?<br>
