[one-users] OpenNebula sites worldwide

Dear OpenNebulers,

 

The European Commission co-funded project CHAIN-REDS (http://www.chain-project.eu/ <http://www.chain-project.eu/> ) is working on coordinating the e-Infrastructure advances worldwide. In this context, Cloud computing has become a major actor and the project is focusing its efforts on Research & Education Cloud infrastructure.

 

In addition, the CHAIN-REDS project already demonstrated Grid and Cloud interoperability in the latter EGI Technical Forum held in Madrid in September 2013 from a final user point of view (http://science-gateway.chain-project.eu/demo-status <http://science-gateway.chain-project.eu/demo-status> ) where several OpenNebula sites contributed successfully.

 

A brief cloud survey has recently been delivered (http://www.chain-project.eu/cloud-survey <http://www.chain-project.eu/cloud-survey> ) in order to know the current status of the Cloud sites in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, although other regions are also of interest. If you are managing an OpenNebula site, we do appreciate if you could spend a few minutes filling this survey.

 

By answering the survey, you will get:

- more visibility to your site and activities (as a map of Cloud installations is going to be made available at the CHAIN-REDS Knowledge Base at http://www.chain-project.eu/knowledge-base <http://www.chain-project.eu/knowledge-base> )

- a feedback report on the result of the analysis made on the answers to the survey.
