Subject: [one-users] Creating the first vm
Okay, I have set up the Head Node, and I would like to now create a simple vm for testing.
Are there any templates available to do this ?
Then, The idea is that the head node communicates with the Other nodes on a private
Network. However the vm needs to have a public ip. Does this mean that each node
Needs a public IP, so that the connection can be bridged ? or can any of the vm's use
The head node as the default bridge ?
Another problem I have picked up is adding a host.
I am adding the frontend in as a host as well - can I do this ?
I added it with the command:
$> onehost create <hostname> im_kvm vmm_kvm tm_mad vnm_mad
However, once added, the machine State is stuck on ERR.
If I do a $> onehost show <id>, I get "STATE: ERROR", and the desciption at the end is:
MONITOR FAILURE 1 Could not update remotes
So will using the frontend then not work ?
Do I HAVE to have separate worker nodes ?
