[one-users] disk device mapping

Hello,

How does disk device mapping works? We are using opennebula version 2.2 
and kvm virtualization infrastructure.
When we specify the target device to mount for the disks for ex as : 
hda, hdc etc., the disks get mounted in sda, sdb.

What does this device mapping criteria depend on? Does it depend on 
opennebula?
