LDAP authentication is not supported by Sunstone so it's indeed ignored.

That user:password goes in to a file used by the CLI to authenticate
with OpenNebula (in this case ldap credentials). Is not a value in a
configuration file.

Authentication errors and info provided by ldap module go to
/var/log/one/oned.log and they are marked with "[AuM]"
