HI mailinglist,
I have problems on using OpenNebula with KVM and MooseFS.
In this combination I can't use Images with the RAW filetype.
This is an error/Bug of MooseFS/fuse. Here some quotes from the MooseFS
malinglist:
###############
MFS is fuse based and fuse does not support O_DIRECT.
You need to add cache=writeback to disk defined in
/etc/qemu-server/$VID.conf
example:
virtio0: MFS_disks:101/vm-101-disk-1.raw,cache=writeback
or
ide0: MFS_disks:101/vm-101-disk-1.raw,cache=writeback
#################
Now is my question how can I add the cache=writeback option to my
deployment file automaticly? Which file generates the deployment file?
If you need more infos please tell me. Without this "feature" I can't
use the contextualizing, beacuse the generated ISO file is insert as raw
type into the deployment file.
Thanks for you Help
Regards,
Christoph
