[one-users] RPC client: how to determine my user id?

Hi Carlos,

Thanks for the reply. Using -1 or -2 and then filtering on the client side based on the username works for one.userpool.info<http://one.userpool.info>. (Still wouldn't work for one.user.passwd however).

Thanks,
Carsten

Hi Carsten,

You can use instead the -1 filter flag [1].

The user ID is intended for administrators. Authorized users like 'oneadmin' can perform a one.userpool.info<http://one.userpool.info> call and look for the ID of a given name.

Regards,
Carlos.

Over RPC, how do I find out what my user id is; e.g. for use in other calls such as one.imagepool.info<http://one.imagepool.info> .

Thanks,
Carsten
