There are no formal timeline for releases (i.e. we do not have a strict 6
month release cycle like ubuntu). However, the last release cycle was way
too long. We are now targeting for shorter release cycles with maintenance
release in the middle...

Patches are packed in maintenance releases, and available at OpenNebula
website every 1-2 months. However, repositories in Linux distributions will
follow their release policies.
