[one-users] how I stop a virtual machine

Hi again, following my previous message here:

http://lists.opennebula.org/pipermail/users-opennebula.org/2010-July/002314.html

I found a way to make the 'onevm stop' command work.

Hoping it can help to understand the problem, here are the steps I followed:

(VM is in running state)

$ sudo xm save one-139 /srv/cloud/one/var/139/images/checkpoint

$ sudo xm restore /srv/cloud/one/var/139/images/checkpoint

$ sudo chown oneadmin:oneadmin /srv/cloud/one/var/139/images/checkpoint

$ onevm stop 139

So the problem seems to be that ONE creates the checkpoint file with root owner,

and then it gets 'permission denied' (like in the log files I posted).

Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong because I'm surprised no one has had this problem til now.

Thanks
