Hi Viji,

What version of libvirt are you running? This error means that
libvirtd couldn't connecto to the qemu monitor. In order to get more
information, you can try to extract more information from logs [1].

Another educated guess can be to blame apparmor, if it's running in
your system you may want to try this operation with it turned off.
