[one-users] Cannot connect to VM

I think your problem is that the ttylinux VM does not configure its network card. Although OpenNebula will assign the VM a MAC address and an IP address, only the MAC address will actually be set by the hypervisor. It is up to the VM operating system (in your case ttylinux) to configure its network card with the assigned IP address. You can do this by passing the OpenNebula assigned IP address in the context section or using means like DHCP.

To verify that this is really the problem, add VNC support to your VM template; connect to VNC; log into the VM; run "ifconfig" and look at the network settings.

Subject: [one-users] Can not connect to VM

Hi all,

Trying to run OpenNebula for the first time, apologies for basic questions in this mail.
I spent all the day looking at this problem without any success... I think I have a problem in my network interface configuration but I am not sure...
So, I try to run the ttylinux example without any success. I am able to create the new VM but I can not ping nor SSH it.
Can someone help me solving this issue?
Thanks a lot!

 Here are all the details:

My environment : libvirt/KVM on Debian 5 (In fact the Debian Node runs on top of virtual box, I hope that it is not a problem).
The front is running on 192.168.2.60, I only have one node on 192.168.2.61.
On 192.168.2.61, I manually configured a bridge in /etc/network/interfaces like this (I removed all the eth0 related parts...)
auto br0
iface br0 inet static
            address 192.168.2.61
            netmask 255.255.255.0
            network 192.68.2.0
            broadcast 192.168.2.255
            gateway 192.168.2.1
            bridge_ports eth0
            bridge_stp off
            #bridge_maxwait 0
            bridge_fd 9
            bridge_maxage 12
            bridge_hello 2

Here are my TTYLinux configuration files, I put the bridge value to the one defined just before :
