Hi
The OpenNebula - Nimbus integration was done in the context of last
year's Google Summer of Code program. As you suggest in your message
this integration is a little bit outdated, and given that OpenNebula
from version 1.4 provides a subset of the EC2-Query API and the OCCI
Cloud API there is
no significant benefit. We do not have plans to support the
Nimbus-OpenNebula integration right now.
The other point you rise in your email is the JAVA API. This is also
outdated and does not support the new functionality in the last
version of OpenNebula. We are really interested in seeing this library
updated although we do not have plans to do it in the 1.4.0 release
time-frame.... Other projects have also shown their interest in the
JAVA bindings, and they may be working in that direction...
Cheers
Ruben
