[one-users] ON on ubuntu -- package vs source

Hi,

I'm on Ubuntu 9.0.4 and currently having the problem described in bug
382518 at:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/opennebula/+bug/382518

This led me to the debian package changelog, where they list a variety
of changes they've made to ON.  Having an OS vendor make software
functionality changes makes me nervous.

Those of you using ON in production on Ubuntu, are you using the
ubuntu package or are you building ON from source?  If I get this
annoyance resolved, am I likely to find other issues that the ON
community/docs can't help with?
