Hi,
I would try to add/uncomment the following lines in the file
/etc/libvirt/libvirtd.conf:
auth_unix_ro = "none"
auth_unix_rw = "none"
Why? I had to do it in my Fedora 11, and I think you are using Scientific
Linux, which must be similar to Fedora.
