Hi,

I just went to the Wiki page and I can't edit it with my user account "occi". Ignacio, could you please change this?

As a short update, the Cloud Plugfest at SNIA went well and the OCCI implementation for OpenNebula is on a good way to be released alongside the upcoming OpenNebula 3.0. I'm currently at OGF 32 and there is a lot discussion on OpenNebula and OCCI and I will write a more complete summary of both events to this list soon.

I am sorry I have not yet sent out a detailed email to the list outlining in more details the general goals of the working group as I have been busy with some other tasks.

In my view, it is a "working group to coordinate the several ongoing efforts to implement cloud interoperability standards on OpenNebula". We should also try to enlist those efforts (we could use the community part of our WIKI for this), the project and people in charge, and link for more info. I understand that we now have the following two efforts:

- OCCI 1.1 (Florian's team)
- OVF (Contrail)

...and Venus-C and CompatibleOne could join.

But I think a very good starting point for this interoperability working group would be to define some kind of charter, road maps, goals for this group. For now it could be a written format of few ideas that came out of the telco from yesterday.

Comments, suggestions most welcome ..

Please extend/modify the above description.
