[one-users] example kernel, initrd and .img

Do you have KVM or Xen hypervisor, the instructions are different
for the two.
The KVM images we run under opennebula are a file that is an image of
a disk with a single partition in it.  Our Eucalyptus KVM images
are just an image of the /dev/sda1 (/) file system.
