[one-users] Virtualization

Hi all,
        I am a new to OpenNebula.
I want to ask is like : Is virtualization is essential for the working of
OpenNebula.
Instead of giving the VMs can we directly give cluster nodes to the Client.
Can this senario  be possible through OpenNebula.

Sorry if i am not clear.
