[one-users] diference between CPU and vCPU

hello recently someone posted about allwing the virtual images to have more
than one CPU and someone response to him with this page

which is the difference between CPU and vCPU.

supose I have a machine with 2 processors and each one has 2 cores how
can I manage to give to my

virtual image 2 cores or 3 or just 1.
