Hi Ruben/All,
Find below the details of the partitions on the Host machine(Fedora 8) and the deployment file used by us.
We verified changing the sda1 and sda2 with other combinations of xvda1, but still we are getting the same error earlier I posted.
Let us know if we are doing anything wrong. Let me know if you need any more details.

[root at FEDORA ~]# df -h

Hi Hirish,

It seems that from the OpenNebula and hypervisor points of view there
is no problem, the VM boots and runs. From the attachment it seems
that you have a problem with the VM you have installed, as it can not
mount the root FS (because of a misconfiguration, it tries to mount a
volume group 'VolGroup00' which was not found).Maybe using other VM
image, or installing a new one could help you...

Cheers

Ruben
